Chief conductor Lorenzo Viotti and clarinetist Andreas Ottensamer are good friends. They join the stage in this 'Stravinsky-meets-jazz' program. In Artie Shaw's Concerto for Clarinet, Viotti shows that, in addition to being a conductor, he is also a swinging drummer.
