NedPhO|NKO wishes to provide the best possible service when you visit our website. In some cases, this means that we must request and process personal data. NedPhO|NKO takes your privacy very seriously and will handle all information in the strictest confidence. We are bound by the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), as implemented in Dutch law as the Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming (AVG).


Why does NedPhO|NKO process personal data?

NedPhO|NKO may use personal data which you provide further to the use of this website or the purchase of products or services for the following purposes: (i) the organization of events; (ii) the maintenance of donor/contributor records; (iii) the processing of financial transactions, whether through this website or the website of a third party with an interface to our sales system; (iv) the maintenance of mailing lists for newsletters, brochures and magazines (which may be sent on our behalf by a third party); (v) recruiting donors via telephone through third parties; (vi) data analysis and customer satisfaction surveys (possibly via a third party).


What data does NedPhO|NKO process?

The data to be processed is confined to that which is required for the purposes listed above. It may include your name, address, date of birth, bank account details, number and type of tickets purchased, etc. You are entitled to request access to all personal data held by us.


How long will NedPhO|NKO keep my personal data?

NedPhO|NKO will never keep your personal data longer than is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which that data was obtained. You will be removed from all mailing and contact lists no more than four years after our most recent transaction. All personal data will be deleted or anonymized no more than ten years after our most recent transaction.


Data sharing

NedPhO|NKO will not sell your personal data to third parties and will only pass such data to third parties when absolutely necessary to complete a transaction or further to a statutory obligation. We enter into a Data Processing Agreement with all companies which process data on behalf of NedPhO|NKO to ensure that security and confidentiality are maintained at all times. Responsibility for data processing rests with NedPhO|NKO at all times.


Automated decision making

NedPhO|NKO does not use automated decision-making processes in connection with any matters which may have (significant) personal consequences for individuals or third-party organizations. This refers to decisions made by computer programs, systems or algorithms with no human supervision or intervention.


Right of access, correction or deletion

You have the right to request inspection, correction or deletion of your personal data at any time. You also have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing, or to object to the processing of your personal data by NedPhO|NKO, and you have the right to request restriction of the data processing and to obtain your data. This means that you can ask us to transfer the personal information we have collected about you, in a machine readable format, to you or an organization of your choice. If you submit a request for inspection, correction, deletion, transfer of your personal data, withdrawal of your consent, restriction of data processing or objection to the processing of your personal data, we shall respond as soon as possible and always within four weeks. NedPhO|NKO wishes to remind you that you are also entitled to submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.


How do we protect your personal data?

NedPhO|NKO takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized alteration. If you believe that your data is not secure or that there are indications of misuse, please contact us as soon as possible.

The NedPhO|NKO website uses functional, analytical and tracking cookies.
