Mendelssohn asks two pianists in his Concerto for Two Pianos and Orchestra in E, a work he wrote when he was only fourteen years old. Lucas and Arthur Jussen, the most famous piano duo of the Netherlands, play this rarely performed work. Gordan Nikolić and the Netherlands Chamber Orchestra play two serenades by Dvořák and a world premiere by Mathilde Wantenaar.
