Conductor Michele Mariotti is joined by soloist Liza Ferschtman, a fervent exponent of Erich Korngold’s colourful Violin Concerto. The programme also includes Dvorak’s Symphony No. 8, a lively tour de force which draws inspiration from Bohemian folk music.
