Agenda

Every year, young musicians are given the opportunity to gain valuable experience with our orchestras through the Orchestra Academy of the Netherlands Philharmonic and the Netherlands Chamber Orchestra.

At the NedPhO-Koepel, the academy students will perform a sparkling chamber music concert, having been coached during rehearsals by musicians from both orchestras. Come and hear what the next generation of top talent sounds like.

From the Baroque era to the present day

This Koepel concert, performed by the academy musicians of NedPhO, brings together chamber music works by Giuseppe Tartini, André Jolivet, Pavel Fischer, and Camille Saint-Saëns. Spanning a period from the Baroque era to the present day, it offers a varied selection of styles and instrumentations, including Fischer’s String Quartet No. 1 “Morava” in a version for string quintet, and Saint-Saëns’ Septet for piano and strings.

  • Giuseppe Tartini (1692–1770) – Trumpet Concerto in D
  • André Jolivet (1905–1974) – Petite Suite
  • Pavel Fischer (1965) – String Quartet No. 1 “Morava” (version for string quintet)
  • Camille Saint-Saëns (1835–1921) – Septet for trumpet, piano, and strings

Vera Werkman (violin), Nina Broeva (violin), Iker Isasi Saez (viola), Ori Ron (cello), Mario Asensio Hernández (double bass), Joost Hettinga (trumpet), and Gema Vega Diaz (percussion)
