Immersive Percussion

Bring your meditation cushion, take off your shoes, bring your drink into the hall (Queer Beer will be serving beers!) and immerse yourself in Immersive Percussion. The Netherlands Philharmonic Percussion Ensemble, together with special guest Sandrine Chatron on the harp, will take you on a musical journey through beautiful minimal and ambient music by composers such as Philip Glass, Steve Reich and rising star Elliot Cole. We promise nothing but good vibes.

The NedPhO-Koepel, the home of the Netherlands Philharmonic in Amsterdam-East, will be transformed into a serene concert hall for Immersive Percussion, with a special lighting design featuring a starry sky – a setting where you can truly unwind. The ensemble will play on small platforms scattered throughout the hall, and you’re free to sit, lie down or stand wherever you like. We want you to feel good.

Sunday special: Immersive Yoga Flow

Round off your weekend in style! On Sunday, there’s a special event where the concert is preceded by a yoga class. Bring your own yoga mat, plus a blanket, block or bolster!

This yoga class is taught in English!
