Agenda

The Dutch première of Rufus Wainwright’s Dream Requiem performed by the Netherlands Philharmonic. What a treat! With André de Ridder as conductor and Wainwright himself as guest of honour giving an on-stage interview before the concert.

The Netherlands Philharmonic is accompanied by actor Carice van Houten as narrator, soprano Rachel Willis-Sørensen and no fewer than three choirs: Toonkunstkoor Amsterdam and Studentenkoor Amsterdam (both led by Boudewijn Jansen) and the Nieuw Amsterdams Jeugdkoor (led by Anaïs de la Morandais).

Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra

The Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra is one of the most versatile cultural organisations in The Netherlands. The orchestra organises a diverse concert program in The Royal Concertgebouw Amsterdam and is a welcome guest on foreign stages and festivals. The Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra brings classical music to life at the highest level and collaborates closely with international guest soloists and conductors.
