Cellist Anjali Tanna was born in the Netherlands but raised in the US.

She studied in Chicago and Cleveland with Alan Harris and later at the Utrecht Conservatory with Michel Roche. Anjali works regularly with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, the Residentie Orkest and the Radio Orchestras. In 1999 she was invited to participate as a teacher and chamber musician in the Sangat Festival in Bombay, India.
