Harrie de Lange

He was taught by Jaques Banens, solo trombonist with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra. He then studied with the American “brass coach” Roger Bobo, tuba player of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra, and later at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne with the French soloist Michel Bequet. Since 1989 he has played as principal trombonist with the Noordhollands Philharmonisch Orkest in Haarlem, the Radio Symfonie Orkest in Hilversum and to date with the Netherlands Philharmonic.
