According to the Spectator in a recent review, German-English tenor Kieran Carrel has a voice “that sounds as clear and sweet as Austrian Eiswein. With that voice he created a furor in London's Wigmore Hall, with the Thomanerchor Leipzig, the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra and the Bregenzer Festspiele, among others. He is currently a regular member of the Deutsche Oper Berlin. Of particular note was his participation in a CD of the complete songs of Brahms with pianist Ulrich Eisenlohr. With the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra and The English Concert, he has already performed the evangelist part in Bach's Johannes-Passion .
