ZShe had lessons with Henk Rubing and others. Already during her studies at the Conservatory of Groningen with Jeanne Lemkes-Vos, Marieke Boot substituted with various Dutch orchestras. Marieke later moved to Italy where she still lives. She works with various Italian ensembles and has been concertmaster of Cameristi di Montefeltro since 2008. Since 1991 Marieke has also been associated with the Netherlands Philharmonic as second violinist.
