National Women Youth Choir

Koor

The National Women's Youth Choir directed by László Norbert Nemes and Irene Verburg has existed since 1996 and is part of the National Choirs.

The choir offers very talented young women between the ages of 16 and 30 the opportunity to become proficient in ensemble singing at a high level. The choir has collaborated with several major orchestras including the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra in well-known concert series such as the ZaterdagMatinee and the AVROTROS Vrijdagconcerten, and the Berliner Philharmoniker. Composers such as Theo Loevendie, Theo Verbeij and Peter Vigh wrote compositions especially for the National Women's Youth Choir. The choir also collaborated on several CDs, including a special recording led by legendary Swedish choral conductor Eric Ericson.
