German soprano Nikola Hillebrand has quickly established herself on the world’s leading stages, with appearances to date at the Opéra de Paris, Hamburg and Zurich Operas and Semperoper Dresden, where she was ensemble member from 2020 to 2024.

Her signature roles include Pamina, Susanna, Adele, Gretel, Zdenka and Sophie in Der Rosenkavalier , the latter which she performs this season at the Vienna State Opera and Berlin State Opera under Christian Thielemann. Further recent highlights include concerts with the Boston Symphony and Andris Nelsons, Vienna Philharmonic and Tugan Sokhiev, Berlin Philharmonic and Raphael Pichon, Staatskapelle Berlin and Christian Thielemann, and the Bavarian Radio Symphony and Sir Simon Rattle. Winner of the international competition ‘Das Lied 2019’, she continues to give recitals internationally, having performed already at the Heidelberger Frühling, Leeds and Oxford song festivals, London’s Wigmore Hall, and the Schubertiade in Hohenems and Schwarzenberg.
