A classically trained musician, he graduated with highest honours from Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya under the guidance of Zoran Dukic. His refined technique and profound musicality allow him to move effortlessly between classical, flamenco and contemporary aesthetics. As a composer and performer, Figueres expands the sonic possibilities of the guitar, combining traditional flamenco touch with innovative textures and subtle electronic elements. His albums have been critically acclaimed, including the Enderrock Prize-winning debut (2015) and the recent LATIDO (2024), which unites tradition and innovation with remarkable balance. He performs internationally as a soloist, in diverse collaborative projects and cross-genre contexts, and has worked with leading artists such as MARO, Rufus Wainwright, Erik Truffaz and Sílvia Pérez Cruz, establishing a singular voice on today’s guitar scene.
