Paul Reijn received his first violin lessons from his father.

At the age of 12, he won second prize in a national violin competition, after which he began studying with Davina van Wely. He studied at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and also took master classes with Max Rostal and Herman Krebbers. As a freelancer, he worked with many orchestras in the Netherlands, including the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra and the Netherlands Chamber Orchestra. He was concertmaster of the National Youth Orchestra and leader of Camerata Roman in Sweden. As an orchestral musician, he has played in countries including England, Sweden, France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, Serbia, Hungary and Japan. Paul is also a composer and has composed arrangements for film and theater, among other things.
Paul plays an 'Alfonso Dalla Corte': an Italian master violin from 1848. His bow is a Fetique, an exhibition model from Paris, 1921.
