In this symphonic fairytale about a brave little dalmatian, children get to know a 20-piece orchestra and feel how the music brings the story to life. Buzzing bees, mountain goats with cashmere coats and little Muk himself: they all have their own sound world. When the pup meets a mole who brags about his adventures in the deep, Muk is suffocatingly jealous. He wants to experience something too. Only not in the depths, but in the heights. Muk wants to go to the top of the mountain.

Muk and the Orchestra
Muk and the Orchestra is performed by the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra and three narrators: Mark Haayema, Aniek Stokkers and Dennis de Groot. The music of Thomas Beijer and composers such as Beethoven, Debussy and Bruckner will take you through this adventurous musical performance. Together with this performance, Haayema wrote the accompanying read-aloud and audiobook Muk naar de top , packed with music played by our orchestra.
