We are proud to announce the completion of a rebranding process in which we have repositioned our orchestras. This has included a subtle name change. The Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra has become the Netherlands Philharmonic. The name of the Netherlands Chamber Orchestra remains the same. From now on, we are the Netherlands Philharmonic & Netherlands Chamber Orchestra. We are celebrating the final phase of this process today with the launch of a brand new website: orkest.nl

Rebranding of the Netherlands Philharmonic & Netherlands Chamber Orchestra
Gepubliceerd op 17 February 2025
The main reason for the rebranding was to present what we believe in - classical music is timeless and everyone deserves to hear and experience this music - even more powerfully with a modern, graphic style.
The design elements of our new house style are based on the Gregorian musical notation in which the notes are written in square shapes. From this design language, we have developed a system that allows us to play with images and shapes and thereby create rhythm, just as happens in music and compositions. Our new house style appeals to a wide audience: young and old, new and familiar with our orchestras. We are recognizable and visible.
The appearance of the website has been updated, the address of our website remains the same and the content of orkest.nl has also remained the same. With this new corporate identity, we are confidently moving into the future and hope to touch and connect many people through the language of music.
The rebranding, both of the corporate identity and the website, was developed by Fabrique . We thank the Fabrique team for the pleasant cooperation.
