Donor's circle

For all our initiatives - from concerts and educational activities to talent development and special productions - we are increasingly dependent on additional support. Private contributions play a crucial role in this.

As a donor, you contribute to the sustainable development of our orchestras and the development of special initiatives. Our donors are members of our donor's circle who support our orchestras, education and talent development projects.

From €500 per year you are a member of our donor's circle. In addition to all the friends benefits, you also get:

Priority in ordering your favorite seats
Invitations to exclusive receptions and concerts
A behind-the-scenes and meetings with musicians

Your periodic gift benefits:

Talent development, such as the assistant conductor position.
Educational projects, such as 'Welcome to the Orchestra'.
Special initiatives and creative productions for young and old, such as the family performance Muk and the Orchestra.
New music by contemporary classical composers and talented young creators through composition commissions.
Maintaining our rehearsal rooms, double basses, harps, timpani, percussion, a large number of wind instruments and purchase of special instruments.
And, of course, keeping classical music of the highest level accessible to all, with a diverse range of offerings and relatively low admission prices.

Periodic donation with tax advantage
As a cultural ANBI, the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra Foundation is exempt from gift tax and inheritance tax. Your gift goes entirely to our orchestras. Donations are tax deductible. With a periodic donation the tax advantage is the greatest. You lay down your periodic donation in an agreement for at least five years. The entire amount you donate to a cultural ANBI is 125% tax deductible, regardless of the amount you annually donate. For a one-time donation, the amount of the deduction depends on your income.
