Agenda

The NedPhO Dome in Amsterdam East is home to the Netherlands Philharmonic & Netherlands Chamber Orchestra.

The orchestra has found the perfect place with beautiful acoustics for creation and rehearsal in this former church near Amsterdam Muiderpoort trainstation. We like to share this location in the lively Indische Buurt with everyone who loves music. We give concerts, music lectures and have public rehearsals for our concerts in the Concertgebouw and other famous concert halls.

About the NedPhO Dome
The Gerardus Majella Church was built in 1925 by architect Jan Stuyt. With the arrival of the Netherlands Philharmonic & Netherlands Chamber Orchestra, the Majella Church, which was still on the verge of demolition in 1992, was given a beautiful new purpose. After an intensive and thorough renovation by owner NV Stadsherstel Amsterdam, the NedPhO Dome now houses offices, rehearsal studios and a rehearsal and concert hall, including space for 200 people. With concerts and educational projects, we try to welcome audiences to the NedPhO Dome, close to the orchestra.
