The Netherlands Chamber Orchestra has a vacancy for:

2nd Violin tutti (50%)

Profile:

  • You are versatile and ensure excellent performances on (inter)national concert stages and at the opera whilst mastering a broad repertory. That requires a professional and flexible work ethic. This unique combination makes for a versatile work environment. Besides playing in the Netherlands Chamber Orchestra, your annual workload will involve playing chamber music and participating in educational/social projects;
  • You radiate enthusiasm on every stage;
  • You have a talent for harmonious teamwork, possess open communication skills and know how to give positive feedback.

Employment conditions:

  • You start with a fixed-term employment contract;
  • Contract size is 50%;
  • Salary in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement for Dutch Orchestras, scale 1 (column 110%). The step depends on your years of experience in a professional orchestra;
  • Mandatory participation in the ABP company pension scheme;
  • Different allowances according to collective bargaining agreement for Dutch Orchestras, which you can find on www.vvno.nl , the website of the association of Dutch Orchestras;
  • Indication of the start date of employment for the mentioned position will be March 2027;
  • Unique opportunity to play in opera’s, symphonic music, chamber music and educational/social projects.
