National Mixed Youth Choir and Kristian Bezuidenhout
This year, enjoy music by composers including Purcell, Handel and Bach. The National Mixed Youth Choir showcases the very best in young vocal talent, and the musical direction is in the hands of Kristian Bezuidenhout, who is making his debut with the Netherlands Chamber Orchestra. This fortepiano and harpsichord player is a Baroque expert who has also been causing a sensation as a conductor for the past few years.
This programme can be heard on 11 December at the Grote Kerk in Alkmaar, on 12 December at PHIL Haarlem and on 13 December at the Concertgebouw.
